White Rose Snooker club are hosting a Bank Holiday Darts Masters competition on Monday 17th April.
Registration from 12.00pm. Toe the oche at 1.00pm.

Saturday 15th April – Rowland Road

The season continued on Saturday with wins for Daz Johnson against Tony Darlow for the men, a win for Mandy McKenzie over Laura Tye in the Ladies and victory for  Tyler Aksin over Brandon Stockings for the Youths. The season continues with the next match on 29th April at Townville. Don’t forget the bank holiday competition at White Rose on Monday 17th April.

Townville W.M.C – Saturday 17th December 2017

The 2016 season reached a climax at the Townville WMC. The Youths and Ladies started the proceedings. The Ladies saw some great darts and overall champion Giffy Khaoisoi went out in first round to Michelle Binns who then went all the way to the final, beating Tracey Gledhill in the semis before losing out in the final to Louise Stockings who had beaten Lyn Bailey and Laura Tye on the way well done Louise 2016 Champion. Other players to reach the finals where Leah Wiltshire and Mandy Mckenzie.
The Youths produced some surprises in the first round where all the Haddocks, Kai, Keaton and Naomi all lost in the first round Kieran Sullivan was the other loser. The first semi final was contested between Matthew Taggart and Andrew Booth, Matthew winning that one, in the other semi Brandon Stockings overcame Jacob Gwynne. The final saw Matthew Taggart become 2016 Champion winning against Brandon Stockings.
The Mens competition saw some great games during the day finally seeing the quarter finals brimming with talent. The first of these saw two former winners Les Delderfield and Tony Darlow and it was Tony’s turn this time. The next quarter final saw two newcomers to this stage with Mark Reynoldson going through against Paul Carre. In quarter number three we saw past champion Johnathon “Joby” Hewitt losing out to Peter Jacques. Four former winners in the quarter finals saw the third one, Willie Kershaw lose out to Daz Johnson.
The Semi Finals saw the experience of Tony Darlow winning over Mark Reynoldson who’s best darts didn’t turn up when needed. The second Semi Final saw Daz Johnson winning over Peter Jacques, leaving us with a final of Tony Darlow and Daz Johnson, a new champion was to be crowned as previous winner Tony lost out to Daz Johnson 2016 Champion.

BDP tournaments are open tournaments played throughout the year at selected venues. Every dart player is welcome, whether they are new to the game or a professional player. We also welcome youth and lady players.
