If you, as a pub/club, wish to hold an
event, please contact us by phone or email, click
here for our
contact details and form. Two members of our committee will call to
assess the suitability of the venue and arrange a date and prize
money for the competition. The BDP will add £150 to your
sponsorship to make up the total prize money. The minimum
sponsorship is £300. The greater the prize money on offer the more
players you can expect to enter.
We are at the moment averaging
100+ entries. Entry fees are £5 per player. We would run 2/3 domino
cards to help towards prize money. Any profit from entry fees/domino
cards would go towards the BDP grand final at the end of the year.
Your venue needs to be within the west yorkshire area. We would advertise for you on our web
site and send out flyers. Our committee would arrive two hours
before the start, normally 10am, to set up the boards and equipment
and then run the event. Time permitting there will be a blind pairs
or 1st and 2nd round losers knock out . Format to be decided on the
day.
